What is it?
To help us celebrate our reopening this July – we’ve hidden 80 silver Curiositickets all around the city BS1-16 – it’s a huge citywide treasure hunt-style competition.
Each ticket allows free admission to We The Curious and a Planetarium show for a group of up to 6 people for 1 (standard admission day time entry), valid from 2 July 2024 until 31 December 2025.
And thanks to First Bus, it also includes free bus travel to and from the venue on the day of your visit.
Where are they?
We’re working with a community partner in each postcode, who will be in charge of hiding 5 silver Curiositicket tokens in their spaces or venues starting from 20 May.
We’ll be highlighting the location each day, so keep an eye on our social media channels to see what’s going live when!

The hunt will start in each postcode from their 'go live' starting date, and continues until they're all found!

Found a ticket?
If you're one of the lucky finders of a Curiositicket, here's what you need to do to book your visit.
You can book online, or on the phone - call our Bookings team on 0117 915 1000 (Mon-Fri 9-5).
Important bit! You’ll need to have your discount code (7-digit code printed on front and back of the wooden part of the ticket – so do make sure you visit the location written on the back of the silver token, to pick up the second part of your ticket) to hand. You'll need this to enter this number at the beginning of your booking process if booking online.
Things to note:
- Pre-booking is essential, as we do sell out, especially in the Planetarium and during busy times – we don’t want you to miss out!
- Do make sure that you book a Planetarium show later than you arrival time, to give you time to get to the Planetarium.
- 0-2s and personal assistants can be added on for free and won’t be part of the allocation of 6 tickets, but you’ll still need to add them to your booking for both venue and Planetarium.
- You can use your Curiositickets for daytime events such as Toddler Takeovers and Relaxed Mornings (keep an eye on our website and social media channels for when these are announced), but not for special evening events such as After Hours or Planetarium Nights
Step-by-step:
1. You’ll need your 7-digit discount code to hand before you start your booking – that’s the 7-digit code which is printed on the front and back of the wooden section of your ticket. This’ll make the value of your basket to zero, so there’s nothing to pay.
2. Click on the ‘book tickets now’ button on the top right of this website
3. Follow the steps to book your group. Choose the non-gift aid option, and fill in the ticket types for the group that you’ll be (Eg; adults, children and under 2s) when you visit
4. You’ll then receive booking confirmation and tickets to your email address.
5. Enjoy your visit!

Terms and Conditions
You can see our standard terms and conditions here, which are in place, in addition to some specific ones for this promotion:
· Each Curiositicket is valid for up to 6 people, for 1 visit up from 2 July 2024 until 31 Dec 2025. It includes entry to We The Curious and a Planetarium show.
· Members (annual and community members) of We The Curious are eligible for Curiositickets
· Curiositickets aren’t available for staff and volunteers of We The Curious
· Curiositickets can’t be sold - no online ticket can be resold without the prior written consent of We The Curious. If any person attempts to enter We The Curious with an online ticket that has been resold without our written consent, we may refuse entry and no compensation is payable to that person by We The Curious.
· Special evening events such as Planetarium Nights and After Hours aren’t included
· Discount codes are single-use and can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer We The Curious is running
· Space isn’t guaranteed due to limited capacity, so advance booking is strongly recommended
· We the Curious reserves the right to withdraw or amend any promotion without notice.
A note on safety:
It’s safety-first, so the silver tokens won’t be hidden anywhere unsafe, and they won’t require anyone to do anything dangerous in order to get a Curiositicket. We don’t want to put anyone at any risk, so please search responsibly!
