A Better World is Edible

How does the food we eat affect the planet, and what can we do about it?

Join us in the Kitchen to cook up some scrumptious sustainable snacks, chat about the food we eat and changes we can make. 

We'll be alternating between two activities:

The Big Green Grill-Off 

Some sources of protein have a big impact on the environment. Become a sustainable chef as you invent and cook your own meat-free burgers. 

 

The Missing Ingredient

Make a Christmas mug cake in groups and explore using different ingredients as substitutions for the animal products. Then compare the taste, texture and carbon footprint of your cakes.
