FUTURES - European Researchers' Night
Come and join European Researchers to create, imagine and explore a world where anything is possible.
Find out about ultrasonic levitation, see robotics at work and find out how blood sucking insects are helping researcher’s with their work. Get involved with hands-on experiments, follow one our trails and find out what our researchers think about the big questions – from how technology can improve our health to the way robotics may shape our working lives in years to come.
And when you’ve finished exploring you can pull up a chair, relax and listen to Researcher Tales, a series of short stories created by some of the region's leading researchers, in conjunction with story teller Clare Murphy.
This event is part of FUTURES, a series of free events taking place across Bristol and Bath to celebrate European Researchers' Night on Friday 28 September. It has been organised by University of Bristol, University of Bath and Bath Spa University.
The Research Fair and Researcher Tales are drop in events but please register for more information.
European Researchers' Night is funded by the European Commission and aims to engage the European public in celebrating the latest and most stimulating research at a local and an international level. Simultaneous events will take place in over 300 cities, spanning 24 European countries.
