Join us in the high-tech house, to reveal the research behind the high-tech healthcare of the future.
SPHERE is a local research project that has created sensors for home diagnose and help manage and health and wellbeing conditions. The technology will aid early diagnosis, lifestyle change and the ability for people to stay healthy at home.
SPHERE is currently running a city large experiment in people’s homes. Bristolians have opted to help trial out these sensors in their homes. Every time they wake up, wash their hands or watch TV, that are contributing data. Data that the researchers can use the train their machines (AI) and future healthcare technology.
In our high-tech house, you'll be able to:
- See a ‘CITIZEN SPHERE' houses in our Kitchen space, with all the sensors set up - you'll get the opportunity to come and interact with the sensors and create your own data
- You can participate in contributing your own data to a current research process, and see how data can be used for good.
- You can also take part in discussions about what it means to open up your house to sensors and new technology.
- Chat with SPHERE researchers all about the project
