Life in the Universe - Daytime Special

Sorry folks, this experience isn't available at the moment. There's lots of other events to enjoy though - find out what's on

Can you imagine meeting an alien? What would they be like? And do you think we'd get along?

During the Easter holidays, we're setting out on a search for life beyond Earth, through the solar system and on to distant, imagined worlds.

Join us from the comfort of your sofa to discover how astronomers search for planets. We'll explore how and where life could evolve and think about how an encounter with aliens might work out for us. This is a fun, interactive online show using our advanced Planetarium software, led by some familiar faces from our team of presenters!

Life in the Universe - Daytime Special is an adapted version of our online evening show. The daytime shows during the Easter holidays are for everyone, but are most suitable for age 7+.

How it works

Our virtual Planetarium shows are run on Zoom. Tickets cost £5 per device.

Capacity for each show is very limited, so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! All ticket sales help us to continue our work as an educational charity.

Once you’ve booked, you will receive an email confirmation. The Zoom link will be sent to you in a separate email shortly before the show. To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend use of a desktop (or laptop computer) with strong, stable internet connection.

Shows last 40 minutes and are best suited to age 7+. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

We’re running the shows on Zoom as we wanted to recreate the interactive fun of our live shows in the dome as closely as possible. Please do join in as much or as little as you like!

Any questions?

If you have any questions, please drop us an email at info@wethecurious.org and we will come back to you as soon as possible. As our venue is currently closed, our phone lines aren’t open at the moment.
