Curiosity Zone

Explore illusions, tornados and TV with this curious collection!

Activity

Exhibition spaces

You can experience one of nature's most destructive forces, try to roll a ball uphill and see if you can split light in our Curiousity Zone.

  • Be awed by cosmic rays from outer space
  • Try and control a loop of string with a mind of it's own
  • Mould and shape our super tactile black sand

Explore more about perception and colour and see whether pink is an imaginary colour with this Live Science video 'How to make a pink pixel'.
