Free use of Millennium Square carpark for NHS staff and keyworkers

To support our wonderful National Health Service at this challenging time, We The Curious will be offering free parking in the Millennium Square carpark for all NHS staff and key workers, during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The car park is open 24hours a day  and no pre-booking is required. NHS and keyworkers will just need to show some ID to the Estates Team at We The Curious, and they’ll be able to let them out of the car park for free.

Donna Speed, Chief Executive for We The Curious said:

"We’re so glad to be able to offer something to the brilliant NHS staff who are working so hard to curb the pandemic, and to the keyworkers who are supporting us all through this period. It’s a small gesture, which will hopefully mean that they don’t need to come to work using public transport, and also means that it’s one less thing for them to think about at this unsteady time. It’s a small way to say a MASSIVE thank to you to them all."

Millennium Square carpark is run by We The Curious, an educational charity, with income from the car park helping to support the educational charity’s mission to “create a culture of curiosity”.

We The Curious is currently closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, following the latest guidance from the UK government for the public to limit contact with other people in social spaces.

The charity is now looking at ways to stay curious through programmes and activities that can be enjoyed from home. Keep an eye on their social media channels and website for new content coming soon.
