How about a trip to the stars on your Thursday night? Planetarium Nights are back! 

If you're looking for a star show with some in depth science involved, this one's for you. 

Sit back and enjoy our inspiring presenters deliver an introduction to the science of gravitational waves, dark matter, and dark energy. Gaze into the space between the stars and watch the story of the universe unfold, from its extraordinary beginning to its cataclysmic end, and beyond! 

What to expect: 
  • How did the universe begin? Uncover the secrets hidden in the light from early galaxies and the afterglow of the Big Bang.
  • What is dark matter? Explore the invisible scaffolding of the universe that lies in the space between.
  • What are gravitational waves? Experience ripples in space and time caused by ancient black holes.
  • How will the universe end? Gaze into the distant future, witness potential scenarios for the end of everything, and glimpse what might lie beyond.
