No unfortunately not. Membership isn't transferable, and you will need to carry ID with you when you visit.
You can always add additional people onto your membership if you think they’ll visit a lot. Please contact our team in advance of your visit if you need to do this. If they’re only going to visit once, you can purchase a day ticket for them.
We're an educational charity - membership and ticket sales are an essential source of income for us.
As an indoor experience, we do have to work with limited capacity. This is for the safety of everyone, should we need to evacuate in an emergency.
Our venue capacity is also set at a certain level to help ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience. We want everyone to be able to spend time with as many exhibits as they choose and move around the space freely. No one likes a queue after all!
Our tickets and membership also allow you come and go as you please throughout the day – this means that we have to keep capacity free in case those that have popped out, return.
We recently made changes to our ticket types, with toddler tickets changing from age 0-2 to age 0-1.
Please don’t worry, this won’t impact your current membership.
If you signed up for a membership before 31 March, please keep booking the same ticket types you did before, regardless of the change.
