Our vision as an educational charity is to create a future where everyone is included, curious and inspired by science to build a better world together.
The ‘together’ is really important; so we want to make sure that you have the VERY best time – and that every experience is enjoyable, memorable and meaningful for every visitor.
Science centres and museums have the power to reflect society and explore ideas from different perspectives.
We’ve set out this Respect Charter which outlines a little about what you can expect from us, and how we expect you’ll interact with us.
To help keep everyone safe and happy, we ask you to follow a few guidelines:
DO – come with an open mind, bring your curiosity and playfulness. We’re here to nurture and encourage your spark.
DO – treat our staff, volunteers and visitors with kindness and respect. We’ll promise to do the same.
DO – be yourself, you’re safe to be yourself here.
DO – respect all of the experiences, backgrounds and journeys that bring us together.
DO – collaborate, share with others and look after our spaces.
DO – listen to any instructions from our staff, visitor safety and a positive experience is at the heart of what we do.
DO – share feedback calmly. We’re great listeners, we can help you if you help us .
DO – let us know if we can help in any way, we’re here to help you.
We don’t tolerate abuse, violence or discriminatory behaviour of any kind towards staff, volunteers or other visitors – anyone displaying these sorts of behaviour may be asked to leave.
Thanks so much for being part of the ‘we’ in We The Curious, look forward to seeing you soon.
