Come and spend the day

Our programming spaces are alive with experiments, creative activities and presenter-led planetarium shows.

Most activities are drop-in – just check times when you arrive – and they’re included with your day ticket.

Planning a visit during the school holidays or on a weekend? Those days are popular, so book your day tickets in advance.

Day visit activities

All activities, workshops and talks in our main exhibition spaces are included in your day ticket.

Book your day ticket

Please book your visit online before you arrive if you can, as we do often sell out during holiday periods. It also helps us get you inside and playing quickly when you get here.

Are you a teacher or an educator?

A visit to our two exhibition floors can be combined with practical STEM workshops or longer theme days in our classrooms and fully equipped laboratories.
