Bristol educational charity and science centre We The Curious has today, Thursday 23rd February 2023, offered the first look inside the building since the devastating fire almost a year ago, setting out details of the multi-million-pound repair programme underway and giving an update on reopening.
We The Curious, along with over 40 members of the UK Association for Science and Discovery Centres (ASDC), has today joined the Science Centres For Our Future campaign, which is calling on the government to set up an Emergency Resilience Fund to support the UK’s world-class network of regional Science Centres.
After 14 months of closure during the pandemic, educational charity We The Curious will be reopening on Saturday 22 May 2021 with a bold new experience Project What If, which aims to leave people with questions rather than answers.

As part of We The Curious’ climate emergency declaration earlier this year, and pledge to become carbon neutral by 2030, there will not be a temporary seasonal ice rink this winter; BUMP roller disco will instead run on Millennium Square from 15 November – 5 January.
