Make connections, make memories.

With two floors of interactive exhibits to explore and with a programme of daily activities already included in your day ticket, there’s something for all the family, from tots to grown-ups.

What's on this May half term:

  • Twisty Turny Ball Run (Theatre of Curiosity):  Get creative and collaborate with others as we build a giant ball run on the ground floor!
  • Spring Kitchen (The Kitchen):  Why does chocolate taste so good? Let's investigate the science behind your favourite sweet treats.
  • Shadow Factory (The Studio):  We're experimenting with shape and colour, from putting on a shadow show, to creating mosaics with light.
  • Passport to the Stars (Open City Lab): What kind of curious are you? Take on five space-themed challenges, from hearing Mars to smelling Jupiter, and earn your Curious Cadet badge. You’ll be part of a real research project about careers in science.

All these activities are drop-in. Just check times on arrival.

/ Your ticket is valid all day and you can come and go as you need. Just be sure to have your tickets ready to re-scan.

/ Most activities are drop-in but some will have timed sessions throughout the day. Check the foyer screens on arrival.

/ You can find a range of food options in our café, or bring your own lunch and use our picnic spaces in the foyer.
