- Students remain the responsibility of school staff and accompanying adults at all times. It is important not to leave students unsupervised in the exhibition spaces of We The Curious.
- Please remind students that We The Curious is a public attraction and other visitors on-site must be treated with the same respect and courtesy you would expect.
- There may be times when school groups share the Planetarium or school shows with other visiting groups or members of the public. We The Curious staff ask for the support of accompanying adults to ensure appropriate behaviour during these shows to ensure all audiences enjoy the experience.
- The We The Curious team wear We the Curious T-shirts/sweaters and have a venue ID on a lanyard. They here to help you and are trained to engage your students with the exhibits and help them get the most from their visit. Students are asked to treat the We The Curious team with respect and to listen carefully to all instructions they give.
- The level of noise generated by the group must be within acceptable levels so as not to disturb other visitors.
- Lunch spaces should be left clean and tidy after use as they are often within public areas of We The Curious.
- School groups are requested not to use lifts unless students have access needs.
- Students are to take care of themselves and others when moving around in We The Curious. Students must not run inside the venue.
- We endeavour to keep our exhibits in good condition and working order by investing a great deal of time and money into their maintenance. Please support us in ensuring everyone’s enjoyment by treating exhibits respectfully and if you need help using them, just ask!
- Our programming is led by fully trained staff, and we respectfully ask that correct ratio of school supervising staff remain in the workshops to support the smooth running of activities and to meet safeguarding requirements. Please note that 1-2-1 support is in addition to the required ratio on the day.
- If your group fails to meet the terms within out Code of conduct, We The Curious will raise this with you, with the aim of resolving the situation.
- In the event of pupils being seriously disruptive and the situation cannot be resolved, We The Curious reserves the right to cancel any pre-booked programming or ask the school to leave the site.
