Can you make a phone with just two cups and a string?

Join us this May half term for a retro craft activity in the Theatre of Curiosity. Experiment with acoustics by using string and wire racks to discover how sound can sometimes travel more efficiently through a solid medium than through the air.

At the end, take home a kit to create your own string cup phone and continue your acoustic experimentation at home.

Drop-in sessions scheduled throughout the day.

This is a drop-in activity. No need to book - check the foyer noticeboard for times on the day.
