This Black History Month, on Sunday October 26th we've team up with Curiosity UnLtd to screen Selma - Under The Stars

This half-term, we invite you, your family and friends to enjoy an open-air screening of Selma Under The Stars. Honouring 60 years of this pivotal march join us at the big outdoor screen at Millennium Square for a powerful evening of movies, music, and movement. There's an evocative dance performance from South West Dance Theatre, Bristol Bus Boycott shorts and a limited number of deckchairs and blankets. Of course you're welcome to bring your own seating and snacks too. 

Event runs: 6.30 - 10pm. Film starts at 8pm

Selma Under The Stars is a (12A). Kids must be with an adult. 

SELMA (2014) tells the gripping and moving true story of a pivotal moment in Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s civil rights struggle. Directed by Ava DuVernay, the Academy Awards®-winning film chronicles the historic protest march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965—a triumphant demonstration of the power of the people to demand change.
